Our mission is to simplify access to affordable, high-quality, sustainable mental health services for African Americans who have the most difficulty accessing services due to systemic barriers. It is our duty to connect individuals with practitioners whom they relate to in order to receive the best services available. 4 in 10 Adults suffer from anxiety and depression. 75% of African American adults with mental health concerns do not get the care they need and 60% of other adults with mental health concerns do not get the care they need. It is 20x’s more difficult to locate an in-network therapist than a primary care physician and that rate triples for African Americans. The individual practitioners we work with set their own fees per session.
